# Walk to Pan Pacs Central, come back to 180 square metres

> The Pan Pacific Masters Games' nightly entertainment hub, Pan Pacs Central, sits an easy walk from Marriner Views' Fern Street address. Ten days of competition, 42 sports deep, run alongside it from 6 to 15 November 2026.

Broadbeach is 450 metres from Marriner's front door, and for ten days from **Friday 6 to Sunday 15 November 2026** that short walk leads straight to the **14th Pan Pacific Masters Games**' nightly entertainment hub. **Pan Pacs Central**, at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, runs six themed nights across the Games – Country, Rock, Disco and 80s among them – plus an opening and a closing ceremony, all 18-plus and licensed, all inside easy walking distance of an apartment built for a group to come home to. The Games run across **42 confirmed sports and 42 venues**, no qualifying standard required beyond the minimum age for whichever sport a group has entered, and organisers expect more than 16,000 athletes from every Australian state and over 30 countries. More than seven in ten of them travel in from outside the Gold Coast, per the event's own figures, filling the coast's accommodation for the length of the Games.

## Kurrawa Beach, the closest venue on the map

Athletics – Distance Running takes over Kurrawa Beach for the Games, 1.9 km down the sand from Fern Street, a walk a competitor could do as a warm-up rather than a commute. Two of the newer additions to the program sit a tram ride out via Florida Gardens, 750 metres from the building: Padel, staged for the first time at Padel Gold Coast – KDV Sport in Carrara, and Badminton, back at the Star Badminton Centre in Southport after twenty years off the schedule.

## Six nights, six different reasons to be out late

Pan Pacs Central's confirmed 2026 line-up runs a Country night with Casey Barnes, who has notched 15 country radio number-ones, through to a Rock night headlined by the Killer Queen Experience, a Brisbane act turned international touring show, and closes with The Potbelleez, known for the multi-platinum anthem "Don't Hold Back." Doors open most nights at 7:30 pm and run to midnight, 1 am on the opening and closing nights, with free public transport on Games accreditation for those two nights only. Past editions give a sense of the energy: 2024's run went from Sneaky Sound System to The Wolfe Brothers and Mr Brightside, and a Health & Wellness activation sets up at Pan Pacs Central across the Games' first weekend, offering massage and strapping for anyone easing off a heat or a match.

## A building built for a group entry

Two apartments a floor and 180 square metres each means a team, a family, or a group of mates competing across different sports isn't tripping over each other between events. Children are welcome at any age under Marriner's own policy, useful for a squad travelling with family in tow as well as teammates, and team sports carry a separate Non-Playing Official entry for the coaches, managers and scorers linked to the team without competing themselves. The heated saltwater pool sits at 26°C for a cool-down after a day at Kurrawa Beach, the sauna and steam room cover the cooler mornings, and the full-sized tennis court is there for anyone whose own event happens to be tennis. Secure basement parking, one space per apartment at 2-metre clearance, beats hunting for a spot near the Convention Centre once the Games crowds fill Broadbeach. From mid-October, accreditation is a pass on the phone rather than a card to keep track of, one less thing for a group travelling together to lose.

## Book the whole run, or just the weekend

A Thursday-to-Monday booking covers an opening weekend of competition and a first taste of Pan Pacs Central, with Northcliffe Beach fifty metres from the door for the mornings in between. Check-in runs 2 to 5 pm.
