Payment

Deposit, balance, refund timing and the security bond.

Payment schedule

Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total price is charged at the time of booking.
Balance
The balance of 75% of the total price is charged 5 days before arrival.
Arrival within 5 days
If your arrival date is within 5 days at the time of booking, 100% of the total price is charged at the time of booking.

Cancellation timing

Up to 5 days before arrival
With the exception of the non-refundable deposit, guests may cancel the booking free of charge.
Within 5 days before arrival
No refund will be issued.

$300 security deposit

The property requires a $300 security deposit at check-in. Security deposits by credit card are held as a blocked transaction by your bank and released by your bank 5 to 7 business days after check-out. Cash can be accepted as a security deposit and returned after an apartment check is satisfactory.

Occupancy, apartment condition, rubbish, smoking, keys, conduct and quiet enjoyment.

Occupancy, damage and departure condition

It is a condition of occupancy that the owners of the premises are not liable for damage to, or loss of, property that the occupier or guest may bring onto the premises. Guests agree to conform with the body corporate by-laws and pay for any damages and losses in the apartment they are staying in, whether caused by them or their invitees. By checking in, guests accept that they will pay for additional services and that additional charges will apply if an apartment is not left in a neat and tidy condition on departure. All rubbish is to be removed from the apartment and any items in the dishwasher are to be placed back in the cupboards.

Rubbish, smoking and keys

Guests agree to remove all rubbish via the rubbish chute except for glass and large items, which must be deposited in the basement refuse room. Guests agree to pay a $300 deodorising fee if there is evidence of smoking in the apartment, including on the balconies. Guests agree to pay for lost or stolen keys at a minimum of $100 per set.

Conduct standard

Guests and invitees of guests are expected to behave in a manner that is conducive to the safety, convenience and quiet enjoyment of other guests and residents of Marriner Views. A breach of any house rule may result in the summary eviction of the offender at the discretion of the manager, with no reimbursement of monies paid.

House rules are

  • No noisy, offensive or unruly behaviour.
  • No improper or unseemly conduct.
  • No damage to, or destruction of, property.
  • Abide by building signage, especially glass signs at the Jacuzzi.
  • Clean up after use of building facilities such as the barbecue.

No-party policy

Marriner Views has a no-party policy and zero tolerance for noise after 10:00 pm or before 7:30 am. Noise from music, television, conversation or any other source must be kept to a reasonable level at all times and must not disturb other guests or residents.

Neighbouring works

These works are carried out by third parties and are completely outside the control of Marriner Views. While most construction occurs during standard council-approved daytime working hours, some noise or disturbance may be experienced.

By confirming this reservation, guests acknowledge that nearby construction activity is possible and that this does not constitute grounds for cancellation, relocation, refund or compensation.
