What are the check-in times?+
Check-in is between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. If you arrive outside reception hours, late
check-in can be arranged in advance, just let us know your expected arrival time
when you book.
Is parking included?+
Yes. Every apartment includes one complimentary undercover parking space. Maximum
vehicle clearance is 2 metres. Visitor parking is limited; street parking is usually
available nearby.
Is there a security deposit?+
A $300 AUD refundable deposit is pre-authorised on a credit card at check-in. The
hold is released within 7 days of departure, after the apartment inspection.
How often is housekeeping?+
Daily housekeeping is not included. Marriner Views is a self-contained apartment
property rather than a serviced hotel.
Are extra beds available?+
A rollaway bed is available in the 3-bedroom apartments for a 7th guest. Cots are
available for infants and young children at no extra charge, please request when
booking.
Can I request a specific apartment, floor, or view?+
You can register a preference and we will do our best, but apartment, floor, and
view cannot be guaranteed at booking. The 3 Bedroom Ocean is the only category where
the 19th-floor east-facing outlook is part of the room type itself.
Are the apartments air-conditioned?+
Marriner Views apartments are fan-cooled rather than air-conditioned. The building
was designed for cross-flow ventilation off the ocean, with ceiling fans throughout.
Is the pool heated?+
Yes. The outdoor saltwater pool is heated to 26°C and open year-round. The outdoor
spa is also heated. Sauna and steam room are on the same level.
Is WiFi included?+
Yes. Unlimited WiFi is included in the tariff at no extra charge, throughout the
building and in every apartment.
Do you accept Schoolies bookings?+
No. Marriner Views does not accept Schoolies bookings. Quiet hours apply between
9:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Is smoking or vaping permitted?+
No. The property is strictly non-smoking and non-vaping throughout, including on
private balconies and in all common areas.
Are pets allowed?+
No. Pets are not permitted at Marriner Views.
Do you provide airport transfers?+
No, Marriner Views does not operate an airport transfer service. Gold Coast Airport
is around 25 minutes by car; taxis, rideshare, and pre-booked shuttle services all
serve the property.
Is there a restaurant or breakfast on site?+
No. Marriner Views is a self-contained apartment property, so each apartment has its
own full kitchen and laundry. The Northcliffe surf club and Cavill Avenue dining are
both within easy walking distance.
Is there construction noise during the day?+
There is residential construction in the surrounding precinct that operates on
weekdays, approximately 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekends and public holidays are quiet.
We disclose this up front so you can plan around it if you are particularly
noise-sensitive.
Can I drop my bags off before check-in?+
Yes. Baggage storage is available at reception, both before check-in and after
check-out, at no extra charge.
How far is the beach?+
Northcliffe Beach is 50 metres from the front door, around one minute on foot,
straight across Fern Street. The BMD Northcliffe Surf Club is 350 metres south.
Cavill Avenue in central Surfers Paradise is around 15 minutes north along the
beach.
How far is the light rail?+
Florida Gardens G:link station is 750 metres from the property, around a 9-minute
walk. The G:link runs the full length of the coast from Helensvale in the north to
Broadbeach South.
Is the building secure?+
Yes. 24-hour security with CCTV in common areas and outside, secure lift access, and
undercover parking.
How big are the apartments?+
All apartments at Marriner Views are 180 square metres, two per floor. Each has a
self-contained kitchen, in-apartment laundry, two bathrooms, and a private balcony.
